A family friend suggested me Aesop skincare products a little over 2 years ago to help keep my acne in check. I was new to the whole concept of skincare and was just trying out new products to see which product suits my skin the best. Before I begin my Aesop skincare products review, I would like to tell the readers that I have a combination skin type and so I normally use products that minimize my pores.
Aesop skincare: A brand
Here is a little insight into the Aesop brand before I start my Aesop skincare products review. Aesop is an Australian based skincare company that has their product line in body care, skincare, and hair care. They have their stores set up across the globe, but the headquarter is located in Melbourne. They make their skincare products with the utmost care for their consumers, using ingredients that have proven to be safe and are of the highest quality. These fresh skin care products leave you with pure skin.
Product 1- Parsley seed facial cleanser
The number one product on my list of Aesop skincare products review is the Aesop’s new and beloved- parsley seed facial cleanser. It is a must-buy product and is suitable for all skin types. This facial cleanser breathes back life into your skin after a long day of your skin being exposed to dust and pollution. It also takes the remaining make-up off your skin. This product leaves you with glowing skin at home. Although a drop or two mixed with water is enough to cleanse your face, the only downside of this product is that it does not foam enough. I prefer using foaming face cleansers, so I expected the same from the product. I would rate this product a 3.5 out of 5. To know more about how to maintain a glowing skin click here.
Product 2- Aesop Mandarin Facial Hydrating Cream
The second on my list of Aesop skincare products review is this super hydrating cream by Aesop. I’ve heard plenty of good things regarding this particular facial cream, so I decided to try it for myself. This product has a great formula, and you can use it to get glowing skin at home. This cream feels lightweight on your pure skin and also smells exceptionally good. I immediately fell in love with the fragrance before I even tried it! This fresh skin care product is vegan and cruelty-free. Use this product to start your skincare at home. As I mentioned earlier, I try and use products that minimize my pores. This hydrating cream does just that. I do not know if it will suit the dry skin type, but you can try it if you have oily or combination skin. I would rate this product a 4.5 out of 5.
Product 3 – Aesop Purifying Facial Exfoliant Paste
This is the last product on my list of Aesop skincare products review, and, needless to say, I’m not completely satisfied with this product. My skin type is combination skin, so I need to exfoliate at least twice a week. There are many exfoliating scrubs in the market, and you must find a suitable one for your skin. Harsh exfoliators can leave your skin irritated and dry. I’m one of those people who prefer deep exfoliating. However, that does not mean the exfoliant needs to be harsh. I found this product to be overpriced and not so gentle on my skin. The smell of the product is too strong for my senses, and I can say that I’ve used better exfoliants in the past. I rate this product 2.5 out of 5 and certainly don’t recommend it to my readers to buy this product. To read more about exfoliating and its benefits click here.
I have tried and tested all the above mentioned Aesop skincare products. I hope my blog on the Aesop skincare products review is helpful to my readers and will help them make smart choices.
